David is a graduate of the Saint Louis University Physician Assistant program with over 16 years of experience. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Missouri Academy of Physician Assistants. He joined SIG in 2013. He works closely with the gastroenterologists and other members of the staff in the evaluation and treatment of patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease), celiac disease, Hepatitis C, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO), GERD and a variety of other common chronic and acute GI conditions. He has a special interest in the evaluation and treatment of patients with chronic hepatitis C. He is available to see patients as initial new-patient appointments as well as established patients for follow up. He is also on staff at Missouri Baptist Medical Center where he assists with the treatment of acute GI problems such as gastrointestinal bleeding, anemia and abdominal pain.
David is married and has two delightful daughters. He enjoys outdoor activities such as running, coaching his daughter's soccer team, hiking, and gardening.
